MSG = Mass Suicide Goodie
The Vietnamese noodles I had today at that shop down in Swanston had so much MSG I finished off a cup of chocolate milk tea in five minutes. But then it was good while it lasted, so there. Went down to Myers later on where my aunt and uncle went off to check out some plasmas on sale. She wanted a forty-something inch one, but he wanted a 37-inch one. I vote for the forties. With theater and surround sound system. But that's just wishful thinking, although I wish they'd get the new set before the next Fifa World Cup. *shrugs* All I know is I want to get my hands on one of those Disney soundtracks where they compile all their popular theme songs into this convenient CD set thing. The only problem remains with the fact that I can't seem to find that in the Borders down at the city. Everything's all jumbled up like elephant shit, so what are the employees for? And the cheapest pair of toe socks I found today were four bucks. Worth it? I don't think so, not when my own normal socks cost four bucks for three.
Walked past the pet shop today and they had a new white kitten there, above all those bunnies and guinea pigs. It looked so cute and regal at the same time, it was adorable!!! The puppy in the next exhibit was cute too, but dogs just can't measure up to a cat's superiority. I'd want an Ocicat. They say its one of the most sociable cats around, but my aunt hates animals, although my cousin would LURVE a pet puppy. As long as it doesn't drool. Not that I have anything against dogs that drool but I wouldn't want it slobbering all over me in my Sunday best. Cats are so much cleaner. And tidier. And easily toilet-trained. I think.
I haven't licked even the dust off of my holiday homework. Yay. Plus I think I'm gaining one kg a day due to excessive eating. I'm always hungry here since it's always so cold. But I'm sorta happy, though, since there's a double episode of Supernatural today and it's also my cousin's birthday. I wished I'd gone to the movies more often in Singapore. I have way too little movie postcards, and I'd love to have more, wwwaaaaahhhhh... So I like to whine. Live with it. My "freight" package from Singapore hasn't arrived yet. Wonder what happened to the person who was supposed to deliver it. Oh well, he'll come around. Wonders, what a hyphen can do, right? Deliver and De-liver have such diverse meanings. Just a random observation.
The dim sum restaurants here have such lovely fried squids, yummy! Haven't had fried squid before, and the fried calamari rings I badgered my mother to purchase from NTUC is probably rotting in the fridge. OK, technically, things don't rot in the fridge. Oh, and another amazing fact? I was watching that Guiness World Records show yesterday, and the longest mustache in the world is 1.7m long, approximately, on the man's left side. Apparently, the man curls his mustache up to keep it from getting all over his face and to keep food from getting stuck on it. He even avoids candy, can you believe it??? And besides, it's gross.
Should I download Maple into my com? I don't know... but I'm bored... @_@ *waves* See ya later, I've got to go nurse my frozen toes in that warm thick blanket only a few centimetres away...
I'MCRAZY!
