Oscar La Vista Baby!
Hmmm...one of the lamest titles I'll ever come up with. Just spent like 3 hours trying to sort out Accounting. Argh, it's hard. My aunt deosn't find it hard because she's a triple-science whiz. Well, at least I get free tuition. I was thinking of trading Psychology with Accounting, but realised it was stupid, even though Psych is F-U-N. I'd have to do Accounting first year anyway, if I go into Commerce. Why do I have such boring introductory paragraphs...
Did anyone watch the Oscars yesterday? Me did. Or at least part of it. The opening was quite cool and all, and there were pretty funny presenters. But what was up with Jennifer Aniston's drab costume? And Ziyi Zhang's blinding number? (Maybe I'm just biased because she doesn't wanna be called Zhang Ziyi anymore...that wannabe) Didn't really care about the rest, just felt miffed that Wallace and Gromit snatched the Oscar from Howl's Moving Castle. That was a sad, sad day...
All that fuss about THE OSCARS, and guess what? It's all over in a day. Figures. Good things don't last. hAven't blogged in a few days but then again, there was nothing to miss out on. Had to walk all the way from Evan Burge to Lincoln Square Nth. again. How irritating. Blame it on the huge campus.
Had my first decent lunch at the Union House today, this huge gigantic bowl of Fishball Quay Teow Soup, for $6.50. Yeah, BIG hole in my pocket. The only thing I enjoyed about it was the veggies, and the sprouts and maybe the noodles...
I miss my takoyaki... *grumbles* Wow Tako from Plaza Sing... T.T
First tutorials are fun. The main thing we do is play lame games like Human Bingo and Blow Wind Blow, haha. So mindlessly fun. We studied the issue of Charles and Diana today, the royal couple. Paparazzi, I conclude, are a unique bunch of inhumane individuals solely concerned for personal gain, so much so that they suffer from variable stages of dementia which drives them to mindlessly stalk and kill their victims, in the end selling the murder to newspapers for bundles of banana notes, all the while plotting endless schemes in their tiny minuscule cages they call brains.
In other words they're called the cream of the rat race.
I have my own security blanket now. From SIA. My aunt whisked it away from the airline a few years back. I'm gonna cuddle it until it has my smell. Then I'll name it Spiffy.
Going for my red bean soup now...
I'MCRAZY!
